The nine core Individual Placement and Support (IPS) micro-credentials help you acquire the key skills you need to work effectively and grow professionally as an IPS vocational specialist.
This comprehensive, world-first online training program, aligned with the IPS Competency Framework, has been designed to support you in your pivotal role as you, in turn, support young people with mental ill-health reach their own employment and education goals.
Graduates of the core program receive a digital badge and certificate of completion and are eligible to receive recognition of prior learning, for their transferable knowledge and skills, into a relevant, nationally recognised qualification.
Once you have successfully completed the core IPS training program, you will have the pre-requisite knowledge required to enrol in the suite of advanced IPS micro-credentials. These focus on the higher-level knowledge and skills required by IPS program staff wanting to undertake more advanced duties as they advance their career in Individual Placement and Support.
Core and advanced micro-credentials are currently available to IPS vocational specialists and supervisors in headspace.
